Registration Service Bond – DMV Bond

The California Department of Motor Vehicles requires anyone who approves vehicle registration ownership, renews vehicle registration, or transfers vehicle ownership to post $25,000 surety bonds. The surety bond is mandated pursuant to California Vehicle Code (CVC)
Section 505.2 and 11400 et seq., and California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 13, Section 330.00 et seq.

These bonds are subject to underwriting consideration, so the price you’ll pay depends on a review of your personal credit report.
